Tick. Tock.
So, 130 more days until Lois can go into nursery. Not that I'm counting or anything. I'm just throwing it out there...
Lest you think I'm a terrible mother for wanting to pawn off her beautiful daughter, let me explain. Jason often can't come to church because he has to work at the hospital. That leaves me wrangling a cranky (because it's during nap time) toddler that can't sit still for more than two seconds - all by myself. This isn't too bad - but add that to those Sundays when I have to teach 60+ primary children a lesson and that equals disaster! Last Sunday, I got desperate, cheated a little bit and stuck her in the younger nursery and she was a total champ! Every time I went to check on her, she was having a total blast. She looked like she had died and gone to heaven. Kids? Toys? Bubble machine? Snacks? How could a little girl resist? It was a good day. {Sigh.}
So, I'm now convinced that Lois acts out because she's just utterly bored with her old boring parents and perhaps is giving us not-so-subtle hints to "make" her a friend. Hmm...
And since I'm counting some important dates down...
1,450 more days until BO is out of office. Ugh, he's awful. AWFUL!!
And for those out there that think the government would do a better job of running our healthcare system are really, really clueless. Sorry to say it folks, government is not effective in anything they do. And you want them all up in the business of your health? You gotta be kidding me...
BO and his Congress posse want control over every nook and cranny of our lives. The sad part? So many Americans are willing to give it to him. Crazy, I tell you! CRAZY!
And that's my opinion and this is my blog.
'Nuf said.

How are you feeling about "making a friend" for your little girl:) We wouldn't mind if it was a little boy and Saku could have a girlfriend and a best friend from the Wright family:)
I love you! :)
I too think there should be a 1 year old nursery. They love it then and hate it at 18 months. As far as BO is concerned you go girl. I am also sick of all the stupid people that think he is amazing and following everyword he says. If they want socialization move out of the USA!!
Amen, sista!
You know members of Congress do not want to be a part of gov't healthcare and will not be forced to join it...and yet they think it's fine for our country?
I could scream, I get sick every time I turn on the news. (Well, okay, Michael Savage, cause he's the best news there is!)
Well I TOTALLY understand about the whole nursery thing. It doesn't make you a terrible mom to want a break. We all need one and nursery's a great place for it.
I don't care what time church is.... it's never a good time for kids.
You're a wonderful mother! Don't forget that.
AMEN! The government getting up in the health care business is especially bad for the doctors, isn't it? Wish they'd just stay out of it!
AMEN
I just got a calling to teach sunbeams in my new ward... and they are letting me send Timothy to nursery early! WOOTWOOT!
As far as healthcare... did you see what happened with the "Cash for clunkers" deal that the gov't just did? It went broke in a WEEKEND! Hello! They don't understand the car business let alone the Healthcare industry! David is scared of working for the gov't and I'm scared to death to have them in charge. Pray for miracles!
tAMEN,sister friend!
I utterly adore you. Having kids for me means always having a count down. Sometimes I'm counting the minutes until bedtime. Today I'm counting down until I can have this baby out of me. It's all about having something to look forward to. From what I hear, the second half of having kids (having teenagers and grown up children) is all about looking back. We'll see.
Lil: I love the beautiful pics of Lois!! And don't worry about the church thing, although I know you probably wonder why you even go sometimes. It will get better :) And congrats on being an auntie again!! So, now I'll ask the question...when can we expect a little sibling for sweet little Lois.... :) Hope all is well with you guys. When are you heading through our way again? Maybe we should arrange a meet-n-greet!!
All I gotta say about the health care thing is that when I went to a hospital in England (socialized) I got a butterfly bandage on a finger that SHOULD have been stitched. And that was after I waited for an hour with my finger bleeding out! NOT HERE!!!
